ABOUT THE TOUR

Ferrata Nuvolau and Ferrata Averau (A/B): The two via ferratas on Averau and Nuvolau can be climbed individually or combined perfectly. While the peaks aren't among the highest in the region, they still offer breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding 3,000-meter peaks in the Dolomites, some of the most famous of which are located in the immediate vicinity. This tour is suitable for both beginners and families and promises a successful and adventurous day, featuring beautiful circular hikes interspersed with varied via ferrata sections. All this amidst the stunning Dolomite landscape.

PROGRAM

The starting point is the Cinque Torri Hut, which can be reached by car. At the parking lot, we'll briefly check our equipment and distribute any rental gear if needed.

We'll then continue along the trail toward Passo Giau. After the turnoff to the Ra Gusela via ferrata, we'll soon reach the start of the first via ferrata. Here, we'll put on our climbing harnesses, put on our helmets, and assemble our via ferrata sets. It's always possible to be secured with the mountain guide's rope if you don't feel comfortable.

The trail is perfect for warming up and, with a difficulty rating of A, is in the easiest via ferrata category.

After another hiking interlude, we'll reach the via ferrata on Nuvolau (also A), where a hut and a wonderful panorama await us at the top of the summit. Here, we'll stop for refreshments and enjoy the view. Afterwards, we can decide whether to continue on the slightly more difficult via ferrata to Averau (A/B) or whether to leave it at that and descend back to the starting point.

A beautiful day in a dreamy setting, which can be made longer or shorter depending on your mood.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
