PROGRAM
Meeting point is at the valley station of the Boé cable car in Corvara (Val Badia). After a quick gear check, we'll take the cable car to "Crep de Mont" and from there continue a leisurely climb of a few meters with the Vallon chairlift.
We'll soon reach the already visible entrance to the Boéseekofel via ferrata from the mountain station. Here we'll put on our gear and follow the via ferrata up the vertical rock face.
The first C-grade section awaits right at the start. The via ferrata, mostly secured only with a wire rope, has hardly any footholds or iron clamps, and a clean ascent on the rock will improve our surefootedness.
Only in the upper section, on the steepest sections, will we encounter ladders and footholds. However, the rock here is indeed very steep and overhanging in places.
From the exit, it's just over 100 meters of elevation gain to the summit of the Boéseekofel, or Piz da Lech, as the peak is called in the Ladin-speaking valleys.
For the descent, we take the normal route back to the top station of the Boé gondola and from there take the comfortable cable car back to Corvara.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
