ABOUT THE TOUR
Marmolada - Ferrata Eterna (C/D): A very long and demanding via ferrata that, despite its moderate difficulty rating, should not be underestimated due to its high altitude at 3,000 meters and the lack of emergency exits. A fantastic day in the mountains for fit and experienced via ferrata climbers on one of the most impressive via ferratas in the Dolomites. An absolute recommendation for all via ferrata enthusiasts seeking a great challenge and wanting to get hands-on with the Queen of the Dolomites – even if you don't make it to the summit of the Marmolada, you'll be amidst a stunning backdrop.

PROGRAM
From the parking lot at Lake Fedaia, it's a good hour's climb, climbing approximately 400 meters, to the start of the Ferrata Eterna. It follows the north ridge of Punta Serauta to the peak of the same name. From the summit, we follow the ridge in a steady up-and-down climb to Forcella Serauta, where the mid-station of the cable car to Punta Penia is located. At the end of the via ferrata, we stop at the Museo Grande Guerra (Great War Museum), which features a small demonstration via ferrata and offers many insights into the First World War, where the Marmolada front line also ran. The cable car takes us to Malga Ciapela and from there back to the starting point at Lake Fedaia (by hitchhiking or taxi).
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
