ABOUT THE TOUR

Via Ferrata with Children: We will take a short hike along an easy via ferrata, where children and parents will learn about this exciting form of mountaineering. "Normal hikes" are boring and uninteresting, especially for children. However, as soon as the climbing component is added, the children are immediately enthusiastic, and the family weekend outings become successful experiences where the children also get their money's worth. The tour is offered both with groups of children only and with families, where parents learn how to properly secure their offspring on via ferratas. Parents and children are provided with a via ferrata set, and the children are additionally secured with the mountain guide's rope. Minimum age: 6 years. Maximum of 4 children or 8 people.

PROGRAM

Depending on the tour selection, we will meet at an agreed meeting point at the starting point for our tour. We will distribute the climbing equipment among the participants (a backpack is required; for younger children, the mountain guide or parents can carry the equipment) and then set off.

After a short hike, we reach the start of the via ferrata. There, we will receive a brief briefing, and the children will be additionally secured with the mountain guide's rope. Parents will be independently equipped with a via ferrata set and can learn how to belay their offspring along the way, as well as receive tips and information for climbing via ferratas with children.

At the exit, we will enjoy a light snack and then begin the descent. In the vast majority of cases, this is an easy hiking trail that will take us back to the starting point. With many great impressions of a beautiful and adventurous day, the children's interest in future via ferratas may be piqued, and the parents can also gain a lot from this day.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
