ABOUT THE TOUR
Pfitsch - Ölberg Via Ferrata: This wonderfully sunny via ferrata on the south side of the Ölberg runs astonishingly steeply through the rock faces on the valley floor of the Pfitschertal valley. This provides wonderful views and very beautiful climbing passages. Visitors can repeatedly choose whether they would like the difficulty to be a bit tougher (up to D) or stick to the stated difficulty (max. C). This via ferrata also features virtually no access and a short descent with a suspension bridge. This makes it ideal for children (8 years and older) and families as a lovely day trip and leisure activity in the South Tyrolean mountains. Due to its sunny location, the via ferrata can be climbed quite early in the year and well into late autumn.

PROGRAM
At the parking lot, we'll sort our gear and then begin the very short approach to the start of the Ölberg via ferrata. Once at the via ferrata, the climb is beautiful and steep. Several variations allow us to choose whether we'd prefer a more challenging difficulty (up to D) or stick with the easier version (max. C). The via ferrata offers magnificent views and runs at an astonishingly steep angle through the sunny rock faces on the Pfitschertal valley floor. A suspension bridge awaits us on the descent, and we return to the parking lot at the starting point of our tour without any long detours.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
