ABOUT THE TOUR
St. Vigil in Marebbe - Piz da Peres Via Ferrata (C/D): The new via ferrata on Piz da Peres opened in 2022 and has immediately enjoyed great popularity. It's no wonder, given the moderate difficulty on this very beautiful panoramic mountain at the northernmost edge of the Dolomites, making it ideal for a fantastic day of via ferrata climbing with a fantastic panorama at the summit. Divided into three sectors, the trail repeatedly crosses hiking trail no. 12 (which also serves as the descent route), allowing you to leave it at any time if you feel exhausted or if a thunderstorm is approaching.

PROGRAM
From the Furkel Pass, the approach path takes us to the start of the Piz da Peres via ferrata in approximately 1.5 hours. Once we reach the first cable cars, we'll put on our gear and tackle the first part of the via ferrata. Here, difficulties up to a maximum of C await, while the second section becomes a bit more challenging (C/D), and the final section offers an enjoyable climb to the summit (A/B). Depending on our climbing pace, we'll reach the highest point on the via ferrata after about 2-3 hours. At the top, we'll enjoy the stunning panorama of the Dolomites' peripheral peak, where we can gaze deep into the pale mountains to the south, and the Pustertal Valley with the Zillertal Alps stretches before us to the north. After a long rest at the summit, concentration and surefootedness are required for the descent back to the Furkel Pass.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
