PROGRAM
At the parking lot, we'll conduct a quick gear check and distribute any necessary rental equipment.
Afterward, we'll take the cable car from Santa Cristina to Col Raiser. From here, we'll hike across beautiful alpine meadows into the increasingly wild ambience of the Geisler peaks.
As soon as we enter the Wasserrinnental valley, we'll find ourselves amidst a breathtaking Dolomite landscape. Via the Salieresscharte col, we'll reach the start of the eastern ascent, where the via ferrata begins.
We'll put on our climbing harnesses and helmets and assemble our via ferrata sets. Those who aren't yet feeling completely comfortable will be secured with the mountain guide's rope to ensure the via ferrata experience is enjoyable for everyone.
The view from the 3,025-meter-high summit of Sas Rigais, high above the Val Gardena and Val di Funes, is breathtaking. Once we've enjoyed the panorama and recovered somewhat from the strenuous climb, we'll descend to the Mittagsscharte col via one of the two via ferrata variants on the west side. We reach our starting point again via the beautiful alpine meadows.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
