Sand in Taufers - Speikboden Via Ferrata (C): This via ferrata is another ideal climb for beginners on the Speikboden. In addition to the two children's via ferratas (Piraten and Michl) and the Avventura Via Ferrata, there is a wide range of very rewarding via ferratas for beginners, children, and more experienced via ferrata climbers. Anyone who wants to try their hand at hanging from the wire ropes has the perfect starting point. The via ferrata is very well secured, and the most challenging section is right at the beginning of the climb, with the option of escaping via the emergency exit and doing something easier in the surrounding area if this C section proves too challenging. For everyone else, there is another 250 meters of ascent via the via ferrata with varied elements such as a rope bridge and a suspension bridge. A very worthwhile destination for a wonderful day of via ferrata climbing.
