ABOUT THE TOUR
Mezzolombardo - Val del Ri Via Ferrata (C): A modern and very varied via ferrata through the Val del Ri gorge above Mezzolombardo, which, together with the two other gorges, Burrone and Rio Secco, around Mezzocorona in the Adige Valley, forms a beautiful gorge trilogy. The via ferrata in the Val del Ri features several rope bridges, where the roaring stream below is repeatedly and spectacularly crossed. Afterwards, you climb up the canyon flanks and alongside impressive waterfalls. A truly breathtaking and rewarding via ferrata that will surely quickly become a modern classic.

PROGRAM
We'll meet just above Mezzolombardo and climb together over the suspension bridge to the start of the via ferrata. The subsequent two hours through the gorge offer us fantastic views of a truly beautiful canyon. Despite the many iron clamps, some sections require some arm strength. Since the rope is often inaccessible to children from the iron clamps and the rock otherwise has relatively few footholds, this via ferrata is not particularly suitable for children under 10 years old. But for everyone else, this will be a fantastic day south of South Tyrol in a landscape you wouldn't expect to find in the Etschtal Valley.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
