ABOUT THE TOUR
Onto the warm rock early in the season: beautiful climbing on Rosmarie on Ciampanil de Val, including spectacular abseiling.

Ciampanil de Val - Rosmarie: Thanks to its low elevation, this is one of the first climbing routes in the Dolomites that can be climbed pleasantly early in the year. It is a beautiful and moderately refurbished route by Ivo Rabanser with many superb climbing passages as well as a spectacular abseil line.
If you fancy alpine climbing at the start of the season, this route is a really fine way to begin the rock season. The approach is short, the climbing varied, and the character of the route stays airy and exciting throughout without becoming unnecessarily complicated. Added to that is this special mix of enjoyable climbing and Dolomite flair that you are always happy to experience on a rock tower like this.

PROGRAM
We meet at the car park at the entrance to Langental in Wolkenstein (or in Klausen at the car park by the motorway entrance). After a short gear check, we hike up in just a few minutes to Ciampanil de Val, where the start of our route is located.
We will enjoy the route to the full and have plenty of time along the way for beautiful pictures and photos to capture this climbing adventure. The summit of this rock tower is an idyllic spot with beautiful meadows and ancient trees, inviting you to linger and enjoy an extended summit break.
To round off the tour, we descend in a short time via an impressive and perfectly equipped abseil line back to the start and then return to the car park.

What should I bring for the tour?
Most important are climbing shoes and suitable mountain clothing. You will receive the detailed packing list with the confirmation email. Missing equipment can be hired from the Südtiroler Bergführern for a small wear-and-tear fee.
