ORTOVOX
Ortovox is the undisputed specialist in winter safety equipment - and has been since 1980. That year, the company revolutionised avalanche transceiver searches with the first dual-frequency device, and it has continuously developed and expanded its range ever since. Today, great importance is placed on the sustainable processing of natural materials such as merino wool and sheep’s wool (Swisswool) in order to combine maximum functionality with maximum wearing comfort. With Ortovox Protact, the company committed to producing its entire range climate-neutrally by 2024 - and reached that goal as early as 2022. But this is only meant to be the beginning. In 2008, Ortovox also created the Safety Academy, a training platform where mountain enthusiasts can develop their skills in the three areas of snow, ice and rock.

For more than 200 years, Grivel has stood for a genuine passion for the mountains. Founded in 1818 in Courmayeur at the foot of Mont Blanc, the company still combines traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology and is regarded as the pioneer of numerous innovations in mountain sports. Today the brand is represented in more than 50 countries worldwide, while staying true to its alpine roots and sustainable values.

KOHLA
Tyrol
The traditional Tyrolean company Kohla has been around since 1932, when it was founded by Max Kohla in Innsbruck. Its first products were mainly rucksacks, poles and hunting equipment. Thanks to numerous innovations, by the 1970s Kohla had become the byword for mountain sports enthusiasts in its segment. In 2003 the brand was taken over by the Spahn brothers from the Stubaital.
Kohla manufactures 80% of its products directly in Tyrol, focusing on local quality and the shortest possible transport routes. The company has picked up numerous awards in recent years (including two ISPO Awards), proving that it is still one of the most innovative brands in mountain sports.

SANTNERPASSHÜTTE
Rosengarten massif
Hardly any hut in the Alps is more beautifully and impressively located than the Santnerpasshütte in the Rosengarten. At the Santner Pass, at an altitude of 2,734 metres, the view to the west is wide open. The architecture of this ultra-modern hut honours this breathtaking panorama with a complete glass front, so guests can enjoy the sunset while being looked after by the friendly hut hosts Romina and Michi.
The hut's local mountain, the Rosengartenspitze, is a special Dolomite summit that offers its climbers wonderful opportunities, but no easy routes. Right next to the hut are also the Vajolet Towers, which are popular with climbers for good reason. So there are plenty of reasons to pay this hut a visit.
MÜLLERHÜTTE
Stubai Alps
The Müllerhütte (3,145 metres) in the Stubai Alps is a very special hut in more ways than one. Yet it is not its unique location amid the ice masses of the Übeltalferner, after all the largest glacier in South Tyrol, that makes it so special; above all, it is the hut team around Heidi Wettstein that turns this place into a favourite spot in the mountains.
Even the words of welcome on the hut's website hint that you are always welcome here: "We stoke the stove for boots and soul, cook with love and imagination, encourage dancing and music, value tradition and fresh ideas, and love to tell and listen to good stories. At this altitude, everyone depends on one another. We are delighted to share this special world with you."
