The Cadini Group is located directly south of the Drei Zinnen , which is a true blessing for this group. While almost all the crowds head up to the Auronzo Hut and the peaks, the Cadini Group remains mostly quiet. Dotted with numerous small towers and wild formations, the Cadini are a true paradise for climbers . 

Not far from the beautifully situated Lake Misurina is the starting point for one of the most scenically spectacular areas of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The numerous peaks have also become very popular with photographers. But people have been climbing their walls for much longer than they were photographed. There are several great classics in the area, such as di Mazzorana's climb on the Torre Wundt from 1938. 

The Fondo Savio Hut offers excellent accommodations amidst an indescribable landscape, making it the ideal starting point for several days of climbing. Those who prefer to traverse the area can do so either on touring skis in winter or along the rope-secured via ferrata sections of the Sentiero Durissini in summer. 

Another highlight of the region is the " Merlone " via ferrata . A relic from the 1960s, when technical climbing was particularly popular, numerous ladders were installed along the vertical rock faces, allowing access to the 2,788-meter-high Cima Cadin .
