The right equipment is a must in the mountains, but without solid knowledge of how to use it, you are helpless in an emergency. The Safety Academy avalanche course “Training Basic” is just right for beginners, but also for more advanced skiers who want to refresh their knowledge.

TOUR AND TRAINING BASIC
In our “Tour & Training Basic” avalanche course, you learn not only how to use avalanche emergency equipment, but also the fundamentals of sound tour planning and how to apply it in the terrain. The second day is a full day of touring out in the snow.

Alpine course
HIGH ALPINE ADVANCED
Glacier course and rock course in one: the supreme discipline of alpinism. It prepares you for tours in varied terrain where you have to master both glacier sections and rocky ridges. The ultimate basic course for mountaineering in the Alps. Topics include ascent and descent in pathless terrain, basic climbing techniques, arresting falls on firn, glacier rope teams, crevasse rescue, tour planning, equipment and knot know-how, and much more.
