ABOUT THE TRAINING

Ortovox Safety Academy - Alpine Basic Climbing Course: A one-day alpine climbing course where we'll learn the necessary techniques in the crag so you're prepared for multi-pitch routes, including abseiling over several pitches. You've been leading grade 5 routes in the crag and indoor climbing hall and perhaps already have some multi-pitch experience – even if only as a second, but you're already really into these "multi-pitches"? Then this course is exactly the right one for you. Here you'll learn everything you need to know. As usual, we'll work in very small groups of a maximum of four people so that we can address the participants' individual knowledge levels as individually as possible and you can get the most out of this course. If you'd like to delve a little deeper into the topic of "multi-pitch climbing," we definitely recommend the "original" Ortovox Safety Academy multi-pitch climbing course, which lasts two days: the "Climbing Advanced" course. The great advantage is that we can apply what we learned on the first day directly to a tour on the second day, thus consolidating our knowledge in the long term.

*This course is not actually part of the "original" Ortovox Safety Academy, but due to high demand, we have decided to offer a one-day alpine climbing course.
