PROGRAM

The meeting point for the ascent of Cima Presanella is the parking lot at Baita Velon. From there, we'll continue by car along the 6km forest road to the Pozzi Alti parking lot at 1,884 meters.

After a brief gear check, we'll initially climb gently past tunnels and defensive positions carved into the rock during World War I to the Rifugio Stavel F. Denza.

The next morning, we begin our summit ascent. First, a steep climb to Passo Cercen, then across the glacier around Cima Vermiglio to the Sella Freshfield saddle, and then on to the summit of Cima Presanella.

The descent follows the same route.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
