Cinque Torri – alpine climbing: an ideal climbing area for beginners and for everyone who wants to learn something new. Short routes in all grades invite you to try things out. The Dolomites scenery and superb rock round off the whole experience. What more could you want?
For a guided climbing day in particular, the area around the Cinque Torri is simply ideal: a short approach, lots of options and a choice of routes ranging from a relaxed introduction to somewhat more demanding lines. This lets us plan the day to suit your ability and your goals – without any rush, but with plenty of time on the rock.

PROGRAMME
Day 1: Climbing at the Cinque Torri
We meet on the Falzarego Pass – we will agree on the time when you book. Alternatively, we meet in Vahrn at the motorway exit or in Bruneck and drive together to the Rifugio Cinque Torri, where parking is limited. At the car park we do a short gear check and then set off for the rock towers of the Cinque Torri.
The approach is short, the choice of routes is huge, and the rock here is excellent almost everywhere. No wonder the area is so popular. Precisely because of the many options, it makes for a really great day – whether you are new to climbing, looking for alpine climbing with a course element or simply want to enjoy some climbing. There is something for everyone here.
To round off the day, we treat ourselves to some well-earned refreshment – liquid or solid – at the nearby Rifugio Cinque Torri before heading home.
Any changes to the programme that may become necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, availability of accommodation, etc.) are always made in consultation with the participants.

Is the tour suitable for beginners?
Yes. The climbing day at the Cinque Torri is well suited to newcomers and to anyone who wants to learn more about alpine climbing. Thanks to the wide choice of routes, we can tailor the day closely to your ability.
What equipment do I need to bring?
Above all, you need suitable mountain boots and clothing for a day on the rock. You will receive the detailed packing list with your confirmation email. Technical equipment can be rented from Südtirolalpin for a small wear-and-tear fee.
Where do we meet for the climbing day?
The meeting point is usually the Falzarego Pass. Alternatively, we can also meet in Vahrn or Bruneck. From there we drive on together to the starting point.
