ABOUT THE TOUR

Dolomites Tris: Our Dolomites tasting menu. For everyone who wants to experience the diverse possibilities of this unique region in a compact area. From varied scrambling tours and enjoyable multi-pitch climbs to via ferratas and glaciers, all packed into 3 compact days. Let yourself be surprised by what we have in store for you. To start, we'll serve up a varied standard route to acclimatize to the terrain, the altitude, and the challenges this technical terrain has to offer. The main course takes us to the highest peak in the Dolomites. There are fixed rope routes garnished with glacial ice and plenty of elevation gain as a side dish. To digest everything, we've included a special alpine climbing tour on superb rock to a bold rock pinnacle in the Langkofel massif. After these 3 courses, you'll have a good idea of what the Dolomites have to offer. And don't worry: there's plenty more to enjoy. =)

PROGRAM

Day 1: First and Second Sella Towers - Easy Climbing and Rappelling
To kick things off, we'll climb the First and Second Sella Towers. Not only will we get used to the Dolomites, the terrain, the rock, and the breathtaking views, but we'll also get a fantastic glimpse of the destinations for the next two days. We'll also use this day to assess your abilities and, if necessary, adjust the program for the following days accordingly.

Day 2: Marmolada Normal Route (or West Ridge) - Via Ferrata and Glacier
The second day is a real challenge: We'll climb to the highest peak in the Dolomites. A crevasse-ridden glacier awaits us, which we'll cross safely as a rope team, as well as a via ferrata to overcome the vertical rock faces that separate us from the summit. At the top, we'll stand on the roof of the Dolomites. No other peak in our 360° panorama towers above us – the view from here is truly breathtaking. But we'll have to work hard for this panorama: 1,300 meters of elevation gain and loss are required. However, there are plenty of alternatives (without the glacier) if you don't feel up to this tour of the Marmolada.

Day 3: Five Fingers Peak - Alpine Climbing and Rappelling

After a second day that was particularly demanding in terms of fitness, we'll treat ourselves to a relaxing ride on the cable car for day 3, taking us almost directly to the start of our climbing route. For a full-body experience, we'll primarily use our arms today and give our legs a bit of a rest. Even if you've never climbed high walls before, you can give it a try here. The holds are large, the rock is solid, and the difficulties are moderate (grade III+ maximum). If we feel it could be a bit more challenging, there's also the option of choosing a more difficult route. Just trust our expertise and let yourself be inspired by this unique region.

... *This is a program that we can tailor to almost any skill level and experience level. Of course, for shorter trips, we'll have to make some minor adjustments, which would likely affect the Marmolada tour. However, we have plenty of great alternatives. Depending on the weather, we might rearrange the days a bit to take advantage of the most stable weather conditions for the longest tours.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
