Ski tour for novices: an easy ski tour for beginners and less experienced ski tourers who above all want to improve their basic uphill technique and their skiing technique on the descent.
All on an easy, not overly long ski tour, with valuable technique tips. That leaves plenty of time to answer questions along the way, fine-tune your technique and get a good feel for the rhythm of a ski tour. Ideal for anyone who wants to ease into the world of ski touring in a relaxed way – without pressure, but with an experienced South Tyrolean mountain guide at your side.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Fitness for up to 800 metres of ascent
- Confident skiing on piste, as a prerequisite for coping reasonably well in deep snow
- Also suitable as a first ski tour
- Not suitable for learning to ski from scratch. This must be practised on the piste beforehand (feel free to send a separate enquiry for this)

PROGRAMME
Day 1: Easy ski tour
We'll arrange the tour and the meeting point when you book. After a short equipment check, we set off on our ski tour. Along the way, we'll enjoy the wintry landscape and happily take the time to share a valuable tip or two, so that ski touring becomes more and more enjoyable.
After a leisurely summit break, we start the descent, seeking out the best snow of the tour. Just trust your mountain guide's experience. Back in the valley, and hopefully richer for a great experience, we're sure to find time to raise a glass to a successful ski tour.

Any changes to the programme that may become necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, availability of accommodation, etc.) are always made in consultation with the participants.

Is this ski tour really suitable for beginners?
Yes, that's exactly what it's designed for. The tour is chosen so that it's very manageable for beginners and less experienced ski tourers. The focus is on simple terrain, basic uphill technique and gaining more confidence on the descent.
When will I find out which tour we'll do?
The exact route and meeting point are arranged when booking. That way, the tour can be chosen to suit your ability, the current conditions and the goals of the day.
What equipment do I need to bring?
You'll receive the detailed packing list with the confirmation email. The essentials are, of course, ski touring equipment and suitable clothing. Any missing equipment can be rented from Südtirolalpin for a small wear-and-tear fee.
