PROGRAM
The area we choose for our long adventure weekend on skis will determine the location and time we meet. We will agree on this when booking.
Day 1:
At the starting point of our long ski touring weekend, we will conduct a thorough gear check. Since we will be traveling independently, we will bring a lot of gear. Our backpacks will be accordingly heavy. Anything unnecessary will be sorted out and left in the car.
After that, we're ready to go and head to our accommodation. This could be a winter shelter or a bivouac, where we will be self-sufficient.
Depending on our energy reserves and the length of the remaining day, it may be possible to climb another peak with light gear.
In the evening, we will treat ourselves to dinner cooked on a gas stove.
Day 2:
There will be no breakfast buffet today. We'll have to be content with what we've brought with us. However, it will provide us with the energy we need for the day ahead.
From our cozy accommodation, we'll set off with light luggage toward beautiful summits. The high starting point will likely ensure that we don't have to settle for just one summit.
Back in the bivouac or winter room, we'll round off the day with another delicious portion of dinner from a packed lunch.
In the evening, we'll enjoy the sunset and the clear view of the starry sky, something you can't see in the valley.
Day 3:
Melting water, making coffee, preparing breakfast. The day begins again, busy but authentic and intense, in the first warming rays of sun just after dawn.
Time passes until we're ready for another ski tour. Depending on the circumstances, we'll climb another peak with light luggage before gathering our gear and returning to civilization. Or we'll take everything with us and travel a little heavier and at a more leisurely pace.
Back in the valley - at the end of the day - we'll be richer for the experiences and impressions of an unforgettable weekend amidst a lonely and snow-covered winter landscape. We will look back on this often and with pleasure.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
