Finale Ligure – Climbing trip

Day 1: Travel to Finale
We meet either directly in Finale Ligure – we will fix the exact meeting point after booking – or at a convenient meeting point from where we travel together by car or minibus. Once in Finale, we check into our accommodation and may still have time to do some shopping in town so that we are well prepared for the climbing days ahead. In the evening, over a relaxed dinner, we hear about the participants’ wishes and goals and put together a joint, tailor-made programme for the coming days.

Day 2-6: Climb, Chill, Eat, Sleep, Repeat
Five days of pure climbing on the best limestone, in brilliant sectors and beautiful scenery. We will quickly notice how our climbing technique, and above all our footwork, adapts to climbing in Finale and how we improve from day to day. Plenty of technique tips help this progress along even further. Which areas we head for depends on the group’s wishes, ability and mood – and that is exactly what makes this trip so relaxed and at the same time so productive.

When our strength fades, we wind down each day in the little old towns, for example in Finalborgo or Castelbianco, with a cold lager, a gelato and later an excellent dinner. The Ligurian coast also tempts us with bays where we can cool off after a hot day. One thing is certain: there is no shortage of ways to make this week a thoroughly successful climbing trip with a great programme around it.

Day 7: Journey home
The skin on our fingertips is finally worn through, our arms are pumped, our muscles toughened and our climbing technique polished. Happy and hopefully more than satisfied, we head home on the seventh day – and in the days that follow, perhaps we will already be testing our improved climbing level on our home wall or at the local crag.
