ABOUT THE TRIP

Lake Garda - Climbing Trip: Arco is legendary among climbers. One of the oldest, most traditional, and most beautiful climbing areas in the world awaits us. The possibilities and rock offerings in this region are virtually insatiable, and new sectors and countless new routes are opened every year. Between olive groves and picturesque landscapes, the limestone ridges rise, where you'll find the finest climbing routes. Italian hospitality, excellent cuisine, and perhaps the most delicious ice cream from one of Arco's ice cream parlors, a place that seems to consist entirely of sports shops and ice cream parlors, create a unique atmosphere that is unmatched anywhere else in the world. Anyone who climbs must do it at least once in their life in Arco: the mecca of the climbing scene, so to speak.

PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival
We'll meet directly at your accommodation in Arco (this will be communicated upon booking) or in South Tyrol, from where we'll travel together by minibus to Arco. After settling into our accommodation, we'll have plenty of time to do some shopping and errands in town to prepare for the upcoming climbing days. Over dinner, we'll define our goals and climbing areas for this week. I'll try to specifically address the participants' wishes to offer the most ideal program possible.

Days 2-6: Climbing, Climbing, and Climbing
Arco is full of climbing opportunities in every imaginable orientation, steepness, and difficulty. You'll even find pleasure routes alongside alpine multi-pitch routes with the shortest approaches. Depending on the participants' previous experience and skill level, a multi-pitch tour might also be possible. Above all, we'll hone our climbing technique in the excellent sport climbing areas and take on one or two projects for this week. Once our arms are pumped and vertical climbing is over, we'll wind down the days in Arco or directly on Lake Garda, regenerating our strength for the coming day of climbing, true to the motto: dolce far niente. The restaurants where we'll serve dinner exclusively serve the finest Italian cuisine.

Day 7: Departure
A whole week of intensive climbing will not pass us by unscathed. Office hands - no sign of it. The skin on our fingers is worn out. Our muscles are strengthened, and our bodies are trained, we'll return home happy and satisfied. Furthermore, this week of intensive climbing will not leave our climbing technique unscathed, without influencing it in the most positive way. An all-round successful week thus ends as an absolute enrichment for us.

Sounds good, but not perfect?

No problem: This is just an idea of how the program for trip could look like. The duration can be extended or shortened as desired. I would be happy to put together a customized itinerary for you or a group, tailored entirely to your ideas and wishes.

Simply send us a non-binding inquiry using the form above.

Any changes to the travel program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
