ABOUT THE TRIP
Between the sea, red timber houses and dark granite, every pitch on the Lofoten becomes a climbing journey that stays with you for a long time.
7 days · Lofoten
Lofoten - Climbing trip: The Lofoten are a landscape more beautiful than anything you could paint. A deep blue sea with azure accents, lush green blueberry carpets growing beneath dreamy birch woods, idyllic red timber houses in between, and above them dark granite walls of the finest quality, where we will be climbing and from which we will take in this unique landscape from a very special perspective.
Climbing on the Lofoten is superb crack climbing that requires a great deal of self-reliance. In keeping with the local climbing ethic, we will leave no trace on our outings and protect the routes entirely with mobile gear. For me personally, the Lofoten remain the most beautiful place I have visited in terms of scenery.
It is a very special climbing trip, on which we will spend most of our time on alpine multi-pitch routes. Depending on the weather, conditions and climbing standard, we will choose the appropriate routes locally.

PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival in Svolvær
We will fly together to Norway. We will either meet directly at the departure airport or while changing planes in Oslo. We will coordinate the flights accordingly. On request, We will gladly take care of all bookings. Once we arrive at the airport in Evenes, we will pick up a rental car and drive to Svolvær, where we will move into our accommodation. In the evening, we will make plans for our climbing week and choose the routes according to the climbing level.
Day 2-6: Climbing and sightseeing
We will spend the coming days in this dreamlike landscape. The best part is that we do not need to hurry, because the sun does not set anyway. We can enjoy both the climbing and the rest of this holiday to the full. After a few days of climbing, there will also be plenty of time to explore this wild, untouched and rugged peninsula, which in reality consists of countless small islands, and head out on a wonderful excursion.
The rough granite and the superb crack climbing will inspire us. We will capture striking bird's-eye views of the beautiful bays. After the climbing days, we will stop by the friendly climbers' café in Henningsvær and round off the day in a relaxed way.
Day 7: Departure
After 6 days, this climbing dream slowly comes to an end. Our hands will bear the marks of crack climbing, our muscles will be stronger, and our climbing level will have reached a whole new standard. With countless memories in our luggage, we will begin our journey home feeling wistful, yet overjoyed.
