ABOUT THE TRIP

Lofoten - Climbing Trip: The Lofoten Islands are a landscape that couldn't be painted more beautifully. A deep blue sea with azure highlights, lush green blueberry bushes growing beneath dreamy birch forests, interspersed with idyllic red wooden cottages, and above them dark granite walls of the finest quality, from which we'll hang and observe this unique landscape from a very special perspective. Climbing in the Lofoten Islands is the finest crack climbing, requiring a great deal of initiative. In keeping with local climbing ethics, we will leave no trace on our tours and secure the routes entirely with mobile belay devices. For me personally, the Lofoten Islands are still the most scenic place I've ever visited. A very special climbing trip where we'll primarily be climbing alpine multi-pitch routes.

PROGRAM

Day 1: Arrival
We will fly to Norway together. We will either meet directly at the departure airport or during our transfer in Oslo. We will coordinate the flights accordingly. Upon request, I will be happy to take care of all the bookings. Upon arrival at the airport in Evenes, we will rent a car and drive to Svolvaer, where we will check into our accommodation. In the evening, we will make plans for our week of climbing in Lofoten and choose routes based on our climbing ability.

Days 2-6: Climbing and Sightseeing
We will spend the next few days in this stunning landscape. The best part is that we don't have to rush, as the sun never sets. We can fully enjoy both the climbing and the rest of this dream vacation. After a few days of climbing, there will be plenty of time to explore this wild, pristine, and rugged peninsula, which actually consists of countless small islands, and take a fantastic day trip. The rugged granite and the fantastic crack climbing will amaze us. This will capture unforgettable bird's-eye views of the breathtakingly beautiful bays. After the climbs, we'll stop by Henningsvaer's friendly climbing café and end the day in a relaxed atmosphere.

Day 7: Departure
After 6 days, this climbing dream is slowly coming to an end. Our hands will be marked by crack climbing, our muscles will be strengthened, and our crack climbing skills will be at a whole new level. With countless priceless memories in our luggage, we'll begin our journey back home, wistful but overjoyed.
