ABOUT THE TRIP

Sardinia - Climbing Trip: Climbing in Sardinia means the best rock, Mediterranean flair, and Sardinian hospitality combined with some of the most beautiful bays and beaches in the entire Mediterranean. It is an island of superlatives in terms of both its climbing opportunities and the beauty of the climbing locations. During this climbing week, we will visit the best and most beautiful sport climbing crags in and around Cala Gonone and also have the opportunity to climb a few multi-pitch routes. We will explore the vast range of climbing opportunities in the Golfo di Orosei by boat, car, or on foot directly from our accommodation. We will end our climbing sessions with a relaxing break on the beach and a communal dinner in the evening. This is a climbing trip for connoisseurs who nevertheless place great value on ensuring that the climbing sessions don't fall short.

PROGRAM

Day 1:
We'll meet at the airport in Olbia and travel together in our minibus to Cala Gonone. Here, we'll check into our accommodations and have plenty of time for shopping or a short stroll through the town. In the evening, we'll define some of our wishes and goals for this climbing week together. I'll accommodate your wishes as best as I can and put together a great program.

Days 2-6:
We'll first climb in the crag, get used to the Sardinian rock, and maybe even do a refresher course or two on climbing technique, belay techniques, and knot tying.

We'll choose the climbing areas according to our preferences and adapt them to our climbing level.

A day trip by boat to the beautiful beaches along the Golfo di Orosei, where climbing is also possible, is a must. There's also the option of climbing the Aguglia di Goloritze. For this, you'll need to have adequate climbing and belay skills beforehand.

Day 7:
After 5 days of climbing, exploring Sardinia's beautiful landscapes, and enjoying the delicious food of this Mediterranean island, it's time to leave again. With a wealth of wonderful experiences and memories in our luggage, we head back to the airport in Olbia and head home.
