ABOUT THE TRIP
South Africa - Climbing Trip: South Africa is one of the best climbing areas in the world, not least because of the world-famous Rocklands, especially among boulderers. This vast area north of Cape Town, with its thousands of bouldering stones of outstanding quality, is rightly considered one of the best bouldering spots in the world. But the Western Cape region in southwest South Africa has much more to offer; there are numerous wonderful areas spread throughout the region, especially for sport climbing. The exotic flora and fauna also invite you to explore this facet of South Africa. On a safari, we will search for the so-called Big Five. We will also take several excursions to beautiful natural monuments on rest days.

PROGRAM
Day 1: Arrival
We'll meet directly at the airport in Cape Town (or fly to South Africa together). We'll coordinate our flights – I'm happy to take care of all the flight bookings upon request. Upon arrival in Cape Town, we'll pick up a rental car and head to our first accommodation. Over dinner, I'll present the itinerary for the next few days, and we'll make any necessary adjustments together, depending on your wishes.
Days 2-12: Climbing, Day Trips, and Safari
Over the next 11 days, we'll tour the Western Cape region, visiting both the best climbing areas and the most beautiful landscapes. In addition to the Rocklands, we'll also climb in the Cederberg Mountains, the Wolfsberg Cracks, and many other breathtaking areas. On rest days, we'll take trips to the Wolfsberg Arch (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and a one-day safari in one of the region's numerous national parks, searching for the famous Big Five of the African continent.
Day 13: Return to Cape Town
On the penultimate day, we'll return to Cape Town and take a trip to the Cape of Good Hope, the southern tip of Africa, famous among sailors.
Day 14: Return Home
After 13 days of fantastic climbing, wonderful landscapes, fascinating wildlife, and the finest wine, our South Africa trip is coming to an end. With priceless memories and a backpack full of amazing experiences, we'll begin our journey back home.
