ABOUT THE TOUR
Rosengarten - Antermoiraunde Ski Tour: A special ski tour for fit ski tourers amidst breathtaking scenery. Those who aren't afraid of the effort and are prepared to tackle several climbs and a total of 1,700 meters of elevation gain will be rewarded with a unique ski touring experience. A circuit that is considered one of the most scenic even in the Dolomites. After the first climb, almost half the elevation gain has been achieved, followed by a breathtaking descent into the Grasleiten basin and into the heart of the Rosengarten. The next three climbs each get a little shorter, but the landscape remains varied and unique. Time and again, you find yourself simply enjoying the scenery with your mouth wide open. Were it not for the hefty daily workload you have to tackle, you would completely lose yourself among these snow-covered rock faces in the realm of King Laurin. As soon as its legendary Rosengarten (Catinaccio) shines in all its glory in the evening sun, you should be back on the Seiser Alm and admire the play of colors from afar during a well-deserved stop. Even if this natural spectacle is only short-lived, the memories of this tour certainly aren't, and will linger in your mind for a long time.

PROGRAM
The meeting point is at the valley station of the cable car to the Seiser Alm. You can drive or take the cable car to Kompatsch and then take the first bus to Saltria. This is where the first climb to the Molignon Pass begins.
This is followed by a magnificent descent into the Grasleitenkessel (Circle of Grasleiten). The subsequent ascent to the Grasleitenpass Hut can be clearly seen from the pass. At the hut, however, the second climb is not yet complete, and we continue to the highest point of the tour along the walls of the Kesselkogel to the Antermoia Pass.
The second descent takes us to Lake Antermoia, and shortly before the hut of the same name, we climb left into the next pass, then descend steeply into the Duron Valley. A fantastic descent often characterized by good powder snow.
Now we face the final climb around the Mahlknechtjoch Pass, which will allow us to return to Saltria.
In total, we have four different climbs to tackle on this tour, but we also have many magnificent descents to enjoy. All this in a fascinating landscape - what more could you want for a (fit) skier?
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
