PROGRAM
We meet at the Bad Ratzes parking lot above Siusi. (A time will be agreed upon upon booking.)
After a brief gear check, we first ascend the trail to the Schlernbödele Hut and, just above the hut, descend below the rock faces through a gravel gully to the start of this beautiful climbing route at South Tyrol's most iconic landmark. Approach time: 2-3 hours.
The route begins with moderate difficulty and becomes increasingly steep and impressive as it ascends, but never reaches grade V. A pleasant tour on the best rock.
The exit from the route is equally impressive, as you emerge directly from the vertical rock face into a green and flat meadow.
The descent is either steep and shorter via the Gamssteig trail or a bit more pleasant but longer via the tourist trail back to Bad Ratzes.
A wonderful climbing tour, the memories of which will rekindle every time you pass through South Tyrol, as you can see the Schlern perfectly from the A22 motorway.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
