By the way, the Dolomites owe their name to the geologist Déodat de Dolomieu, who described this distinctive rock in 1791. And when you look at the pale rock faces, you can understand the old name Pale Mountains - especially in winter.

We will arrange the meeting point and time depending on the chosen tour. If possible, we can share a car to the starting point or meet directly there. We take care of all the tour planning. Special wishes are of course always welcome and will be built into the overall experience as best we can.
The Dolomites offer an incredible variety of beautiful places that are well worth a visit, especially in winter. Away from the ski circus of countless lifts, there is still plenty of untouched nature to discover. So nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable hike through the deep-snow winter landscape of the Dolomites, and you can make the most of every moment of the day.
Any changes to the programme that may become necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, availability of accommodation, etc.) are always made in consultation with the participants.

Can I mention my own wishes in my enquiry?
Yes, special wishes are explicitly welcome. If you have a particular area of the Dolomites in mind or would prefer a leisurely winter hike, just mention it in your enquiry and we will build it in as best we can.
What do I need for the tour and can I rent equipment?
You will receive the detailed packing list with your confirmation email. If you are missing anything, you can rent equipment such as snowshoes or poles from Südtirolalpin for a small wear-and-tear fee.
