ABOUT THE TOUR

Snowshoe hiking at the foot of the Villnößer Geisler Mountains. A truly special winter experience. Where crowds flock in summer, it becomes quiet in winter, and nature takes a well-deserved break. We visit this snow-covered landscape and find peace and quiet, leaving everyday life behind.

PROGRAM

We meet at the paid parking lot of the Zanser Alm at the head of the Villnöss Valley. Alternatively, we can meet at the parking lot at the Villnöss entrance and drive together to the Zanser Alm.

Right at the parking lot, we'll strap on our snowshoes and hike into the deep snow-covered landscape.

Here, we have several options to extend or shorten the tour as desired, and to tailor the route according to the available refreshment stops.

We'll roughly follow the Adolf Munkel Trail, which is very popular in summer, and hike to the Geisler Alm, where we can enjoy a hearty meal. The breathtaking, vertical rock faces of the Geisler Peaks are always in view, almost within reach.

An unforgettable winter experience in a unique landscape.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
