ABOUT THE TOUR
Sellaronda - Ski Safari - Ski Guiding: The Sellaronda is a highlight for skiers in the Dolomites. It leads through breathtaking scenery around the Sella massif. It passes through three different ski regions of the Dolomiti Superski area. With 1,200 kilometers of slopes, it is one of the largest connected ski areas in the world. A detour to the Marmolada, the highest peak in the Dolomites, is also worthwhile on this circuit. Enjoy a wonderful day on perfectly groomed slopes without the stress of managing this vast ski area. We take care of all the planning and even arrange a delicious lunch at one of the numerous mountain huts. This makes the Sellaronda an unforgettable day on the slopes of South Tyrol.

PROGRAM
There are several starting points for the Sellaronda. We usually start in Selva, where we meet at the valley station of the Ciampinoi cable car at 9:00 a.m. However, a meeting point can also be arranged in Santa Cristina in Val Gardena, Corvara in Val Badia, Arabba, or Canazei in Val di Fassa.
After a quick equipment check, we get our day pass and set off on the Sellaronda. The circuit can be done in two directions: clockwise or counterclockwise. Both options are very worthwhile and offer different ski slopes and different lifts.
The route runs along the Sassolungo, the Sella massif, Sas Pordoi, and the Marmolada. With speedy skiers, we also have the option of taking a detour to the summit of the Queen of the Dolomites during the Sellaronda. Other highlights close to the ski slopes include the Sassongher and Cir peaks. But we also constantly see impressive Dolomite peaks such as the Civetta, Tofana, Antelao, and the Sassà di Santa Croce from new perspectives. The landscape is truly unique and stunningly beautiful, and the ski circuit is one of a kind.
We'll stop for lunch at one of the numerous restaurants and indulge ourselves. Here, too, there are some culinary highlights you'd hardly expect to find in these rustic huts.
The entire circuit is approximately 40 kilometers long. Half of this distance is covered by lift, and half on the slopes.
Depending on the number of participants, you should allow 4-5 hours. (Not including breaks)
Optional options:
- The entire Sellaronda can be "upgraded" with numerous beautiful slopes that are omitted from the classic circuit. Our mountain guides will continuously plan ahead depending on the number of participants, their skiing ability, and their energy reserves, ensuring you get the most out of this day.
- Fast skiers can also take a detour to the Marmolada. The view from the platform at the summit of the highest mountain in the Dolomites is an absolute highlight.
- We also offer a Sellaronda for freeriders, where we ride partly on slopes but mostly in open terrain in deep snow through the Sella massif. Check out our offers in the freeriding category if you're interested!
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
