ABOUT THE TOUR
Big ski mountaineering tours in South Tyrol and the Eastern Alps..
1 day · Difficulty depending on the tour and route choice
South Tyrol (and the Eastern Alps) offers many high summits and glaciers above 3,000 metres. Choosing the right tour can be difficult here. Trust our local mountain guides, and we will find the ideal tour for your requirements and physical ability.
For many ski tourers, spring is the finest time to enjoy their favourite sport. Snow cover and, above all, the base are good, avalanche danger is practically non-existent with good timing, and the rush on the snow-covered mountains has also eased considerably. It is also the time to go for the big summit objectives.
Those who bring the motivation to set out early, and on top of that have the necessary fitness to manage the long ascents, will be rewarded with a unique experience. With a bit of luck, we will carve almost effortlessly back down into the valley in perfect corn snow conditions.

PROGRAM
Day tour: Individual ski mountaineering tour
Depending on the chosen tour, we arrange a meeting point and usually an early start time for our ski mountaineering tour. After a short equipment check, we begin our ascent by headlamp or in the first daylight. Along the way there is a beautiful sunrise, and the early start is long forgotten as soon as the sun bathes the snow-covered mountains in golden light. The constantly changing play of light and colour at daybreak makes the time on the ascent fly by, and we quickly gain altitude. On the summit we enjoy a panorama that only the high peaks can offer. Hardly any higher mountains block the view all the way to the horizon, across thousands of summits and new objectives. In favourable conditions and with the right timing, we enjoy magnificent corn snow descents and return almost effortlessly to the valley, where a cold drink awaits us on some sunny terrace.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
