ABOUT THE TOUR

Sport climbing in the Dolomites: They are the mecca of climbing in the Alps. Every climber gets sweaty hands and wants to grab their chalk bag immediately at the mere mention of the Dolomites. But what is it that makes climbing this very special type of rock, "dolomite," so fascinating? Is it the incredibly steep walls, which are nevertheless possible with wonderful hold sequences, the athletic and varied climbing, or the technical and compact slabs that require a wide range of movements? There's only one thing to help: just try it for yourself!

PROGRAM

At the parking lot, we'll briefly check our equipment and then head out onto the rock faces!

Depending on the participants' level of experience, we'll give a short introduction to rock climbing, the various belaying methods, and everything they need to know to practice the sport safely.

Afterward, we'll head into the vertical walls. We'll start with easy routes to warm up well and avoid using up all our energy on the first few routes. Over the course of the day, we'll progress further and climb until we can no longer hold even the biggest handles.

In between, we'll provide tips and suggestions for improvement to make this day of climbing not only enjoyable, but also a valuable day filled with plenty of new information.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
