Super 8 – ski safari: a very special ski circuit on the unmistakable pistes around the 5 Torri and on Lagazuoi. Unhurried, with the charm of almost historic lifts, right into the bizarre rock formations of the Dolomites and on pistes that wind through unique landscapes – far from the ordinary and guaranteed to be different from anything you have skied before.
Around the Cinque Torri, trenches from the First World War can still be seen today – so along the way you ski through a piece of Dolomite history. During the First World War the area was a strategic base of the Italian army; the restored positions and trenches are now preserved as an open-air museum.

PROGRAMME
Day 1: Super 8 ski circuit
Whether from Cortina or Val Badia, there are several ways to reach this special ski circuit. We arrange the meeting point individually when you book and adapt as best we can to where you are staying. By lift and piste, and possibly a short stretch by taxi or ski bus, we head up to the Falzarego Pass, where we enjoy this circuit past the Cinque Torri, Averau and Lagazuoi on unique pistes and a wide variety of lifts.
The circuit may not be long, but it is incredibly varied. At lunchtime, top-quality local specialities await us in one of the rustic mountain huts with a magnificent panorama. Together with the pistes and lifts we ride on our way to the Super 8, this makes for an eventful day on skis in the heart of the Dolomites.

Is the Super 8 a ski tour or a guided ski safari on the pistes?
The Super 8 is a guided ski safari on groomed pistes. The circuit uses several cable cars and chairlifts and, depending on the starting point, possibly a short stretch by taxi or ski bus.
How demanding is the circuit around the 5 Torri?
The circuit is rated intermediate and takes about 3 hours of actual skiing time. So it is not an extremely long outing, but it thrives on the many changes, the different lifts and finding your way around the area of Cinque Torri and Lagazuoi.
What should I bring for the Super 8?
You need your usual ski equipment for a day on the pistes, plus suitable ski clothing and a small rucksack. The detailed packing list comes with your confirmation email. Any missing equipment can be rented from Südtirolalpin for a small wear-and-tear fee.
