PROGRAM

Day 1: Brixen (Plose) - Schlüterhütte
We meet in St. Andrä (a district of Brixen) at the valley station of the Plose cable car. We take the gondola to Kreuztal at 2,050 meters and then hike leisurely along the Woody Walk to the Rossalm. Our path continues past the Schatzerhütte and down to the Halshütte, where we will refuel for the rest of the journey. Our next destination will be the Peitlerscharte col, from where we will soon reach our destination for the day, the Schlüterhütte, via the Kreuzkofeljoch.
6 hours – ↑ 750 meters elevation gain – ↓ 500 meters elevation gain – 15 km

Day 2: Schlüterhütte - Regensburger Hütte
Today's stage will take us on a breathtaking hike at the foot of the Villnösser Geisler massif along the Adolf Munkel Trail to the Brogleshütte. Here we will refuel for the second half of the day. We then ascend to the Panascharte Pass and continue to the Regensburger Hut.
6.5 hours – ↑ 850 meters elevation gain – ↓ 1,100 meters elevation gain – 14.5 km

Day 3: Regensburger Hut - Hotel Ritsch Schwaige
Day 4 will take us through the Val Gardena. First, we descend to Ortisei. We cross the village and take the cable car to the Mont Seuc mountain station on the opposite side of the valley. We are now on the Alpe di Siusi and, after another hour's walk, we will reach the noble Hotel Ritsch Schwaige, where we will check in.
6 hours – ↑ 100 meters elevation gain – ↓ 1,050 meters elevation gain – 14.5 km

Day 4: Hotel Ritsch Schwaige - Tierser Alpl
The fifth day now takes us to the Catinaccio/Rosengarten. We cross the plateaus of the Alpe di Siusi and climb the Sciliar/Schlern. Shortly before the Schlernhaus, we turn onto the trail number 4 towards Tierser Alpl, where we have booked our next overnight stay.
6.5 hours – ↑ 1,100 meters of elevation gain – ↓ 500 meters of elevation gain – 14 km

Day 5: Tierser Alpl - Vajolet Hut
Day 6 continues to be all about the Catinaccio Massif. Today we have a shorter stage planned, with the option of climbing a great peak as an additional summit or recovering from the strenuous stages of the last few days. Therefore, we will take this stage at a particularly leisurely pace. Via the Molignon Pass and the Grasleiten Pass, we reach the Vajolet Hut at the foot of the Catinaccio Peak.
3 hours – ↑ 450 meters elevation gain – ↓ 600 meters elevation gain – 6 km

Day 6: Vajolet Hut - Paolina Hut
The last day of our traverse of the Rosengarten massif takes us to the foot of the impressive Vajolet Towers. Here, we have plenty of time to observe the climbers on the vertical rock faces before continuing on to the Santner Pass. The via ferrata of the same name leads us down to the Kölner Hut and further to the Paolina Hut, the destination for this day.
4 hours – ↑ 550 meters elevation gain – ↓ 700 meters elevation gain – 7.5 km

Day 7: Paolina Hut - Latemar Hut
Day 8 takes us into the Latemar Group. First, however, we must cross the Karer Pass. On the opposite side of the valley, we ascend to the Kleine Latemarscharte Pass and then traverse the Latemar Group from east to west. At the Grosse Latemarscharte, we will climb the via ferrata along the Latemar Towers before reaching the Latemar Hut via the Rotlahnscharte and Erzlahnscharte ridges.
7 hours – ↑ 1,400 meters in elevation gain – ↓ 800 meters in elevation gain – 12 km

Day 8: Latemar Hut - Lavazè Pass
On the last day of this wonderful Dolomite crossing, we still have the descent to the Lavazè Pass ahead of us. A taxi awaits us there, which will then take us back to St. Andrä. These wonderful and impressive days are coming to an end. However, we will be richer for many wonderful experiences.
3 hours – ↑ 50 meters in elevation gain – ↓ 950 meters in elevation gain – 8.5 km

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
