Around Lake Garda, and especially in the Sarca Valley, there is a huge choice of enjoyable multi-pitch routes and alpine climbs at every grade. The Mediterranean flair in Arco, or a well-earned gelato right by the lake, perfectly rounds off a successful climbing adventure.
Pleasant temperatures almost all year round make Arco an ideal year-round climbing area. If you have had enough of winter quickly, this is just the place for you. Often you can already climb in a T-shirt on sun-warmed rock in March. What more could a climber's heart desire?!

PROGRAMME
Day 1: Climbing at Lake Garda
Depending on the chosen route, we meet in Arco, Pietramurata or Sarche. Travelling there together from South Tyrol, from Klausen or Bozen, is also possible. After a leisurely espresso and a short tour briefing, we drive to the start of our climbing route. There we do a quick gear check, and off we go.
The walls around Arco, and especially in the Sarca Valley, are characterised by mostly short approaches and superb limestone to climb. So we enjoy our time on the walls to the full. Depending on the chosen route, the programme is either an enjoyable multi-pitch route or a somewhat more alpine route, always matched to conditions and ability.
After our tour, we visit the idyllic little town of Arco. It seems to consist of nothing but sports shops, ice-cream parlours, cosy bars and delicious restaurants. Here we round off the day in a relaxed way and look back happily on the crux moves we mastered on the wall.
Any changes to the programme that may become necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, availability of accommodation, etc.) are always made in consultation with the participants.

Who is a multi-pitch day at Lake Garda suitable for?
The day is suitable for anyone who already has some climbing experience and fancies a guided multi-pitch route in the Arco area. We choose the specific route to suit your ability, the conditions and your wishes.
Where do we meet for the tour?
Depending on the chosen route, we meet in Arco, Pietramurata or Sarche. Travelling there together from South Tyrol, for example from Klausen or Bozen, is also possible.
What equipment do I need to bring?
The detailed packing list comes with your confirmation email. Above all, you need climbing shoes and suitable clothing for the day. Any equipment you are missing can be rented on request for a small wear-and-tear fee.
