PROGRAM

There are several possible starting points for the Mountain Infantry Circuit. We will gladly agree on the most suitable starting point when you inquire, depending on your accommodation location. Whether it's Val Gardena, Val Badia, Cortina...

The circuit is 82 kilometers long in total and can be done in two directions: clockwise or counter-clockwise. I recommend splitting the tour into two days. There are wonderful accommodation options available – let yourself be surprised! Side trips to other ski areas with special slope highlights and breathtaking panoramas are also possible. Depending on the participants' strength, stamina, and skiing technique, we are very flexible and will tailor the circuit to create an unforgettable experience for everyone.

We are in one of the largest interconnected ski regions in the world: the Dolomiti Superski area. With 1,200 kilometers of slopes, we have the opportunity to choose the best. We connect two short sections between individual areas by taxi or bus, and even horses pull us along a longer flat section (depending on the direction we want to ski the Grande Guerra Circuit).

Along the way, we'll enjoy the unique Dolomite panorama with its peaks: Sella, Marmolada, Civetta, Pelmo, Cinque Torri, Tofana, Lagazuoi, Conturines, and Sassongher. All these silent companions accompany us on this wonderful tour. Traces of the First World War can be discovered everywhere: artifacts from the war, trenches cut through the rocks, fortifications, and defensive walkways. The rather unassuming peak that is actually the focus of our tour is the Col di Lana. We'll gladly share the special story behind this mountain, which we'll circumnavigate on the Mountain Infantry Circuit, while we leisurely glide along the Dolomite rock faces.

At lunchtime, we'll stop at one of the numerous mountain huts and treat ourselves to a delicious meal. Here, too, you'll find some culinary highlights that you wouldn't expect to find in these rustic huts.

We'll be skiing on the most famous and longest slopes in the Dolomites. This ski circuit is unique worldwide and an absolute highlight in every skier's life. For those already familiar with the Sellaronda and looking for an even greater challenge, the Gebirgsjägerrunde (Mountain Infantry Circuit) is a must-do.

Tip - Gebirgsjägerrunde as a day trip: For very good skiers, it's possible to complete this circuit in a single day. This requires a very early start, as soon as the first lifts begin operating, and a fast pace. Upon request, we can also arrange a one-day Gebirgsjägerrunde tour.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
