PROGRAM

We'll meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Rifugio Cinque Torri and then begin the short climb to the rock towers of the same name. Once at the top, we'll receive a brief introduction and an overview of alpine climbing.

Afterward, we'll briefly examine the required equipment and learn what's used for what and why. With this understanding, we'll move on to the rock. On the ground, we'll explore and try out various belay station options ourselves.

Before we actually start climbing, we'll practice the various techniques and learn rope and belay techniques, as well as the necessary knots.

Finally, we'll climb a short route at the Cinque Torri to round off this taster day with a great experience. By the end of the day, you'll know exactly whether you like alpine climbing or not.

Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
