PROGRAM
Block 1: Triglav + Großglockner (5 days)
Slovenia - Triglav
Day 1: Arrival and overnight stay in the Vrata Valley
The first day is for traveling to Slovenia, where we will meet in the late afternoon at the Aljazev Dom hut in the Vrata Valley. The hut can be reached directly by car via an unpaved gravel road. We will check our equipment and have time to discuss our upcoming project.
Block 1: Triglav + Großglockner (5 days)
Slovenia - Day 2: Triglav
The next day starts early and will be quite long: We climb through the scenic Vrata Valley to the Luknja Scharte and follow the Bamberger Weg, which has several via ferrata-like passages (B/C), towards the summit of Triglav. From the highest point in Slovenia. We then descend via the via ferrata on the other side to the Kredarica Hut (A/B), where we will spend the night.
Day 3: Descent via the Pragerweg
The next morning, we are in no hurry. We return to the Vrata Valley via the long and steep Pragerweg and continue directly by car towards the next Seven Summit: the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain. We spend the night in a hotel in the valley.
Austria - Grossglockner
Day 4: Archduke Johann Hut
From the Lucknerhaus at the end of the Kalser Glocknerstraße, we head towards the Stüdlhütte and then on to our destination for today: the Archduke Johann Hut. It is located at an altitude of 3,454 meters, making it Austria's highest refuge hut.
Day 5: Großglockner
Although there are only a few hundred meters of elevation left to the summit, these are almost exclusively in challenging terrain. But we will master this challenge together and reach Austria's highest point in the early morning. Afterwards, we will return to the valley, where we will begin our journey home. Two of the seven highest peaks in the Alps have been conquered. Only five remain.

Block 2: Zugspitze + Grauspitze + Dufourspitze (6 days)
Germany - Zugspitze
Day 1: Reintalanger Hut
We will meet directly at the Olympic Stadium in Garmisch Partenkirchen and, after a quick equipment check, we will begin our ascent through the impressive Partnachklamm gorge. After about 3 hours, we will reach the Bockhütte, where we can stop for a quick snack. Our route then continues along the Patnach in beautiful countryside to the Reintalangerhütte, our destination for the day.
Day 2: Zugspitze
We have breakfast early at the Reintalangerhütte and set off towards the summit. We pass the Knorrhütte and continue on to the steep and partly barren Zugspitzplatt. This is followed by the most difficult part of the climb, the 400-meter-high south face. A path secured in places with wire ropes leads us to the highest peak in Germany. We will then make a leisurely descent by train, as we still have two more Seven Summits peaks on our agenda for the next few days. We will spend the night in a hotel near Garmisch.
Liechtenstein - Grauspitz
Day 3: Pfälzerhütte
We travel to the tiny state of Liechtenstein. Here, the lowest of the Seven Summits awaits us. A short but steep climb takes us up to 2,108 meters, where the Pfälzerhütte is situated in a wonderful location. This is our destination for the day.
Day 4: Grauspitz
Shortly after the hut, the wide hiking trail from the previous day disappears and, following a few footprints on loose scree, we reach the narrow summit ridge that leads us over the Schwarzhorn to the highest point in Liechtenstein. We then descend back into the valley and make our way towards Zermatt. We spend the night in Herbriggen at the Hotel Bergfreund.
Switzerland - Dufourspitze
Day 5: Monte Rosa Hut
After a delicious breakfast, we head straight to Zermatt. We take the Gornergratbahn railway to the Rotenboden station at 2,815 meters, enjoying the magnificent and impressive panorama. From the station, we take the “Panoramaweg” trail, newly built in 2019, to the Monte Rosa Hut in about 3 hours.
Day 6: Dufourspitze
The next morning, we start early with breakfast at the hut. Then, guided by the light of our headlamps, we set off towards the Rosa Glacier. Here, we have to cross an exciting crevasse system. We continue across the glacier to the Sattele. There, the final climb begins over the west ridge to the highest point on Swiss soil – with a magnificent panorama included. The descent takes us back along the ascent route to the Sattel and then past the Monte Rosa Hut to the Rotenboden station, from where the train takes us back down to the valley, tired but overjoyed. This means that five of the Seven Summits have already been conquered.

Block 3: Gran Paradiso + Mont Blanc (5 days)
Italy: Gran Paradiso
Day 1: Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II
We meet at the large parking lot in Pont at the end of the Valsavaranche valley, or travel together to the Aosta Valley. After a quick equipment check, we begin the approximately 2.5-hour ascent to Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II.
Day 2: Gran Paradiso
After a hearty breakfast, we head for the summit. The route to Italy's highest peak is not technically difficult, except for the summit ridge. At the highest point, a snow-white statue of the Madonna awaits us. We return along the ascent route to the Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II and on to Pont. We will spend the night in a hotel in the valley.
France - Mont Blanc
Day 3: Tete Rousse Hut
We drive to Les Houches and take the cable car to Bellevue, where we continue on the Mont Blanc cog railway to the terminus, the Nid d'Aigle, at 2,372 meters. From here, we begin our hut ascent to today's destination: the Tete Rousse Hut.
Day 4: Mont Blanc
We leave the hut early in the morning. After about 2 hours, we reach the Gouter Hut. After climbing almost 1,700 meters, we reach the roof of the Alps. The subsequent descent takes us back to the Gouter Hut, where we will spend another night at an altitude of almost 4,000 meters.
Day 5: Descent
Right after breakfast, we set off again to cross the Grand Couloir at a safe time. The rest of the descent takes us along the familiar route past the Tete Rousse Hut to the Eagle's Nest (Nid d'Aigle) and down into the valley by cog railway and cable car.
