PROGRAM
The meeting point is the parking lot at the end of the Ridnaun valley near the former mine.
Day 1:
After a quick gear check, we begin the long, but scenically beautiful and varied climb to the Müllerhütte.
Passing several huts (Aglsbodenalm, Grohmannhütte, and Teplitzerhütte), we continue further into the valley to the southern flank of the Becher, at the summit of which the Becherhaus stands. Passing under the rock to the left, we reach the Übeltalferner glacier and continue across the glacier to the Müllerhütte. A total of almost 13 kilometers and 1,800 meters of elevation gain are just to reach the hut (6-8 hours).
Day 2:
On the second day, we start over the ridge to the Wilder Pfaff, descend behind it to the Pfaffensattel, and continue over snow, ice, or rock to the Zuckerhütl. The descent then follows our ascent route back to the Müllerhütte, where we collect our gear and continue on to the Becherhaus, the highest mountain hut in South Tyrol.
Day 3:
On the third day, the Wilde Freiger is still on the agenda. It can be reached from the Becherhaus in about 1.5 hours.
After a long summit break, we prepare for a long descent back to Ridnaun, where we'll have plenty of time to reflect on the past two days.
Any changes to the program that may be necessary for various reasons (weather, conditions, accommodation booking situation, etc.) will always be made in consultation with the participants.
